Hierarchical menu

The extension Hierarchical menu can be used by naming your Chapter or Chapters together with their Pages in a specific way. By doing this a menu will be build automatically.
The page names are used as sublevel identifiers to another chapter whenever their name is the same as one of the chapter names.
In this way a book structure can be build.

The examples below show a menu that is build from a fixed beginning (Chapter called HM00) containing some pages that have the same names as other chapters (HM01 and HM02).
The sublevel can go beyond level 2 as can be seen on pages HM0101 and HM0102 and even deeper (HM010103).
In principal there is no limitation.

The top example shows the menu in whole. The examples after that show that a collapsible menu can also be created. This means that parts of the menu become clickable resulting in the opening and closing of parts of the menu. The first option is really collapsible in the sense that a click closes other opened parts and the second option leaves them open (noaccordion).
The menu is build in such a way that whenever the menu is shown on 1 of the pages that is in the menu itself, this part of the menu opens up automatically.
There is also an option to include the toplevel link in the list below (toplevel in sublist).

Of all possibilities an example is shown below. The last one shows that with rather simple styling such a menu can look nice.

This simple menu is not that fancy as a menu built with the Superfish script (like the menu used on this web site) and offers less enhancements.
