To understand the different examples in this chapter better first give a general explanation of the data structure of PivotX.
The editor/ What does the editor look like?
A short look on the editor for Entries and Pages within PivotX.
Text lay-out/ Simple editing of the lines
A simple list of text lines made through the Wysiwyg editor.
Special text lay-out/ Less obvious editing of text
Samples of more complicated text editing through the Wysiwyg editor.
It gets even more difficult if you want to switch colors. Sometimes it will be necessary to click the HTML button to find the right place to switch off the color change.
Extra lay-out through PivotX buttons/ An illustration of the possibilities of the PivotX buttons
A number of samples made in the Wysiwyg editor using the added PivotX buttons.
Tables/ Not really simple.....
On this page you'll find examples of tables made with the Wysiwyg editor.
Like the subtitle already states this is not really simple. Especially the input of a combination of text and tables in the editor itself could lead to a situation that the editor doesn't know where to go. So saving while you go is important! Otherwise you could loose content! It's better to first put in the text and do the tables afterwards.
Special HTML tags/ Tags that can only be inputted directly
Then there are some HTML tags that cannot be inputted in the normal editor screen. These tags could play an important role in the content editing.
These tags can be inputted through the HTML button.
Themes site/ Ready made themes for PivotX
There is a collection of ready made themes available for PivotX! It would be best if Remark Webdesign creates a custom made version of your web site theme. Whenever you want something different than the 4 standard themes then this is possible.
Archive list
The archive list (archive_list) offers the display of different archive pages.
On such pages the entries are listed that were published in a specific period (in the active weblog). Those lists can be shown per week, per month or per year.
Furthermore a different web lay-out can be defined for these pages.
